I believe in the Constitution of the United States and all of the ratified amendments.
I believe the Federal Government has the right and obligation to secure our borders against illegal entry by nations, groups or individuals.
I believe in free enterprise and the right of people to succeed or fail without government intervention above and beyond issues of public safety.
I believe that individuals that have committed crimes against other citizens should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
I believe that individuals who have been convicted of murder and have shown wanton disregard for human life should be sentenced to the death penalty without appeals and not be allowed to drain the system dry with life sentences.
I believe in the freedom of any individual to choose their religion so far as the practice of that religion does not infringe upon the personal liberties of any other individual.
I believe the United States of America should spend less time and effort forcing democracy on other nations and more time and effort insuring democracy within our borders.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution
      
          "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States
that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and,
Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives
that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

I am married and have three adult daughters. I am currently employed as the Chief of Police for the City of Green River. My interests include building/racing stock cars, hunting, fishing, shooting and horses. I was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1972. I have a Bachelor Degree in Natural Science from the University of Wyoming and I am a graduate of the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy.
